Brakes Trust Minibus Saves Mozza’s Day!

Dave Morris tells the tale that confirms the benefits of being a member of the Brakes Trust.

Thanks to Pete Davis, Paul Edwards, Kev Watson and the Trust for saving Richard’s stag day to Cheltenham races yesterday. On Wednesday evening at 5.30pm Eurocar phoned him to say they had double booked their 14 seater mini bus, booked some 3/4 weeks earlier, and there was nothing they could do. We tried other firms most of whom had shut for the day with no joy – try the Trust I suggested – Paul was contacted – he contacted Pete who was on his way to football, could we contact him after 9.00. At 9.20, after numerous taxi firmed had been contacted all wanting £350/400, Pete called and confirmed that the minibus was available – Kev Watson was contacted – Pete fetched the bus and delivered to my door at 10.30. We had a great day, great weather and thanks to ‘Big Shu’ in the last race I broke even.
Once again my sincere thanks for all their efforts and what great ambassaders you have all been to Leamington FC and especially the Supporters Trust.

Update Fri 22nd Mar’13:
As well the hire fee of £50, Mozza has generously donated a further £50 towards the running of the minibus. Who knows, this might become an annual event!
