New Fan Liaison – Alan Turrell
We are pleased to announce that Alan Turrell has been appointed as the Trust’s new Liaison Officer meaning he will be the first point of contact for fans and in communications between the Trust and the Club. Alan replaces Graham Hobbins who performed this role for a number of years.
Alan has supported the Brakes since the 1960s and has many cherished memories of watching Lockheed Leamington and AP Leamington at the old Windmill Ground, only a short walk from where he was brought up. Although he is now an ‘exiled’ Brakes fan living in Rugeley, Staffordshire, he is a season ticket holder attending most home games and several away ones each season. Alan says: “I am delighted to be appointed by the Brakes Trust into this role and will aim to ensure that I represent the voice of fans in developing a positive relationship with the club.”
If you have any comments or concerns which you’d like to raise with the Trust, or indeed with the club via the Trust, you can feel free to have a chat with Alan on a matchday. Alternatively he can be emailed on alan.turrell@brakestrust.com
Welcome to the team, Alan!
