To get things rolling, we’re starting with a donation goal of £200

At the open meeting it was agreed that the Trust would survey the existing memorabilia at the club.

Trust board member Andrew Calcutt has spent  some time on this and here is his report:

Most of the frames are damaged, glass (which can’t be used [for safety reasons]) or there are dead insects in the frames. However the photographs, shirts and newspaper cuttings look to be in decent condition. So this is a good start. There was 2 AP shirts, 2 shirts from early 2000s. Then photos and cuttings of the rebirth. Programs frame. Newspaper spread of AP. Then some photos from an AP era in another frame. There is also the big photo of Batch, Hoody and Daly hanging up in the walk way to the changing rooms, an aerial shot of the Windmill Ground and then a small frame with various program covers from AP.

With regards to giving supporters ownership of the history, I’m not sure how a vote would work as different events mean different things to different people. So maybe a suggestions page and somewhere that people can submit photos and cuttings etc. Also look to people to donate for frames and printing etc to again make it a fans project. Within keeping in the idea of making sure supporters are at the forefront of this I was also thinking of having a frame of fans photos, people throughout the years, photos of fans on away days etc.
