It is sad to hear that Mick Brady, Leamington FC’s Life President and past Chairman, has passed away.

Brakes fans of the past few decades owe a great debt to Mick, who brought Leamington FC back from the brink into a new era and, quite literally, laid solid foundations for the club we know today.

Known endearingly to Brakes fans as Sir Mick he genuinely is the club’s foremost legend. Mick had time for everyone and followed the Brakes with us as a true fan – while at the same time expertly guiding the club through its rise up the non-league pyramid.

Mick will be very sadly missed and we send our condolences and best wishes to Jenny and the rest of Mick’s family and friends at this difficult time.

Due to the current circumstances the family will be holding an invitation only mass at St Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, on Friday 23rd October 2020 at 9:30 am, followed by a private service of committal at Oakley Wood Crematorium, North Chapel. The funeral cortège will pass the location of the old Windmill Ground on Tachbrook Road at around 10:30. We ask that all fans congregating on the pavement adhere to social distancing rules.
