New web site layout

We’ve updated our web site layout using a ‘responsive’ theme, which provides appropriate layouts depending on whether it is being viewed from a PC/Mac, tablet or smartphone. This scheme may already be familiar to those used to a range of devices, but here’s a summary:

The menu now has additional ‘drop-down’ entries for some items – notably Membership and Minibus.

On a PC or Mac the main area is flanked by left and right sidebars containing search, events etc on the left and donate, newsletter, post categories and links on the right:

On a tablet or smartphone, depending on the screen size and orientation, one or both of the left and right sidebars may be hidden, but can be shown by clicking on >> or << beside the header and the menu (if hidden) can be shown by clicking on ? at the top right:

On a smartphone in portrait (vertical) orientation the sidebar contents are shown by scrolling/swiping down after the recent posts:
