In Youth we Trust
During half time at the Leamington FC v Chippenham Town game, the Brakes Trust presented the Leamington FC Youth team with a £1000 sponsorship cheque for the 2012/2013 season. The donation to the Youth Team will be used for the squad’s training jackets and in exchange, the Brakes Trust badge will be displayed on the jackets.
Darran Ward, Chairman of the Leamington Development Squad remarked, “The Youth team are very grateful to the Brakes Trust for their help and sponsorship. Our aim is to deliver players through a youth system at the club that will push for first team squad inclusion. Having people like the Trust on board is a massive help in our ambitions.”

The Brakes Trust will continue to work with the Youth Team during the season, finding different ways in which further donations can be made. The Youth Team have already seen a 1st team appearance for Josh Tiff in cup competitions, and the future is clearly bright. Mark Davidson, Leamington FC Community Director expressed his thanks, “The club would like to thank the Brakes Trust for their efforts in raising £1000 towards the running costs of the Leamington FC Youth Team. The support is greatly appreciated and valued”.
This agreement with the Youth Team has resulted in a positive and proactive couple of months for the Trust. Peter Davis explains, “Being involved with the Youth Team is an exciting prospect for the Trust, we actively support the Community and Leamington Football Club, and now this enables us to get involved in the future of both. Plus the Trust has recently purchased a Minibus to help existing and new fans get to home games & away fixtures.”
