Co-operative Energy partnership

The Brakes Trust is excited to announce a further linkup with Co-operative Energy based in Warwick. The partnership not only renews our affiliate scheme benefiting the Trust financially but also extends to plans to work together in the community.

Trust board members Nick Rogers and Peter Davis recently met with Co-operative Energy’s Michelle Porter and Ryan Rushton, together with Leamington FC board members Russell Davis and Mark Hobday. The meeting was extremely positive and the three-way linkup looks set to benefit all parties.

Michelle Porter, Energy Partnership Manager for Co-operative Energy writes:

“Co-operative Energy are delighted to work in partnership with the Brakes Trust, helping to increase awareness and raise funding for the Trust whilst promoting its ethical, low cost gas and electricity tariffs.

In its continued effort to reshape the energy industry, Co-operative Energy’s pioneering new tariffs have helped to lower the bills of customers while continuing to invest in local communities.

Co-operative Energy will make a £25 donation to the Brakes Trust for every customer who signs up under our referral”.

Co-operative Energy
In addition to supporting the Trust through this scheme, employees from Co-operative Energy will also be supporting the Trust by volunteering with us at a number of Summer events. These are still at planning stage, but we plan to be in attendance at Leamington Peace Festival, Warwickshire Pride, Whitnash Fun Day and others.

We very much look forward to working with Co-operative Energy and thank them for their support. Watch this space for news on events as they are confirmed.
