Leamington FC Veterans

Leamington FC will be fielding a team in the central Warwickshire over 35’s veterans league as of next season.

The side will be managed by former Brakes player and youth team manager Alan Stacey, and will include a host of former Brakes favourites including Steve Thompson, Mark Simmonds, Harj Dhesi, Stuart Hepburn, Guy Rippon, Nick Mort, Paul Eden and Morton Titterton.

The Leamington FC Veterans will be taking on Dunchurch FC veterans at the New Windmill Ground, on Tuesday 3rd May in an exhibition friendly, with kick off at 6.45pm.

Dunchurch – who may be regarded as Leamington’s closest local rivals, lie in third place in the second division of the Central Warwickshire League, having been established in 1998. The fixture will provide an interesting test for the Old Brakes in terms of establishing the standard of the league in preparation for the season’s start in September.

All supporters are welcome at the game, entry for which will be free of charge.
