Your Trust needs YOU!
The Trust board always welcome people coming forward to help out – there’s always far more projects on the table that we can possibly achieve during a year. As we move into 2013 though, we’ve identified a specific vacancy that we need help with to move forwards.
Minibus Sponsorship Co-ordinator
The Trust currently has a vacancy for a volunteer to organise business sponsorship/advertising on the new minibus. The team recognises that there’s a great opportunity to get local businesses advertising on the vehicle, and a dedicated person is needed to organise this as a project.
What’s involved?
– Getting costings. You’ll need to speak with local printers to get costs for different sizes of advertising. Once costs are known, we can decide at what value to pitch advertising to local businesses.
– Selling advertising space! There really is no substitute for getting out there and speaking with businesses face-to-face, so the person taking this on needs the time to do the legwork, and to enjoy that role. Perhaps you may already be a salesman or working in marketing. You’ll be representing the Brakes Trust in the community, and potentially forging some valuable new links for the Trust.
– Innovation. We’re looking for bright ideas as well – whether it’s running a scheme allowing fans to put their own name on a dedicated panel (with lots of names on it for a few quid each), or any other similar ideas which spread the message about the minibus and get everyone feeling a part of it. So if you have any thoughts of your own – we’re all ears.
What’s not involved?
– Lots of meetings and dullness. You’ll report back to one board member – Nick Rogers – but you’ll have the freedom to run this as your own project.
Interested?
If yes then great! Drop an email to Nick Rogers on info@brakestrust.com and we’ll meet up for a chat at the next Brakes match.
