Beat the Summer football drought with the Brakes Trust
Here are some summer activities to slake your thirst …

Brakes at the Races – 13 June – Warwick Racecourse
I’m sure you need no reminder that Brakes fans gain FREE ENTRY to Warwick Races a week on Monday (13 June).

There’s lots of interest in this already, since all you need to gain free access is to show your Trust membership card, LFC Season Ticket, or wear some Brakes clothing.

The first race is at 6:10, and parking at Warwick Racecourse is free as well. Come along, bring your friends, and have a great night!

Brakes Trust organise a booze-up in a brewery
Last Thursday saw a group of Trust members travel to Hook Norton Brewery in Oxfordshire for a tour of the brewery and a session sampling their real ales.

Everyone had a great time, and we thank Ian Sparrow and the staff at Hook Norton for their hospitality.

For anyone who has never been to Hook Norton, we can definitely recommend the tour. Plus they have a couple of events coming up shortly, including an open day on 18th June – keep an eye on their website for details. http://www.hooknortonbrewery.co.uk/

Open meeting on Wednesday this week – All welcome
This month’s Trust meeting will be open to all members. If there’s anything you’d like to discuss then YOU set the agenda.

The meeting will be on Wednesday 8 June, starting 7:30 at Hobson’s Choice, Warwick (map here .) Apologies for the short notice.

The meeting will be in the function room, through the door to the left of the main bar.
If you’d like to suggest any agenda items prior to the meeting itself, email us here

If you’re not able to attend the meeting, but still wish to air a comment or discussion point, please do not hesitate to email us on info@brakestrust.com

We’re always interested in new ideas and feedback, whether it be ideas on events and activities for the fans, suggestions for community or business link-ups, or feedback on the overall activities of the Trust.

Membership Renewals
With the new season approaching, it’ll soon be time to start thinking of Trust membership renewals. The good news is that the subscription fees have been kept the same as last season – £5 adult and £2 under 16.

Membership is by annual subscription, nominally to coincide with the playing season for the first team of Leamington F.C. and does not relate specifically to the anniversary of the original date of a member’s application. New applications and renewals for the next season will be accepted from the end of the previous playing season onwards and the deadline for renewals will be the 16th of October.

Please don’t forget to renew, because, according to our rules, if a member ceases to be a member, the share registered in his/her name will be cancelled and the amount subscribed for the share is to become the property of the Society.

That said, there will be plenty of opportunities to renew your membership and we’ll have a stall in the clubhouse again at the home matches and you can also renew your membership online here:

We very much hope that you will renew your membership, to allow us to continue doing good things for the fans, for the club, and for the community.
