Board changes

The Brakes Trust board would like to announce the following changes to roles within the team. From the start of June, Peter Davis – Chairman of the Brakes Trust since formation, is switching roles with Vice Chairman Adrian Barton.

PDPeter writes:

I fundamentally agree with the influence the trust movement can have and will have in modern football. The supporters of Leamington football club created the Brakes Trust to progress supporter involvement not only in the club itself but in the town and community that surrounds it.

The work never stops and I’m happy that Adrian Barton steps up to chairman for a very exciting era in the club’s reformation. Everybody needs to come together, realise why we are all here and continue to strengthen the bonds between club – fans – community.

Adrian writes:AB

I am pleased to be taking over the reigns of the Trust from such a solid start given by the retiring chairman Pete Davies. I have been involved with ancillary committees of the football club for the last 40 years from running the supporters club in the 70’s to the Vice Presidents club the 00’s.

I see this chairmanship opportunity as a means for a well respected body to be more dynamic and help raise the profile of Leamington Football Club in the town. I aim with the Trust, to work alongside the supporters and officials of the club to bring a single minded vision for the continued progression of the club.

The other members of the team are:

Board members Peter Bowen, Nick Rogers, Steve Wharton, Roy Sandison.
Secretary: Nick Hallworth. Treasurer: David Falp.

We are always looking for new people to join the team – if you’d like to help out in any way then please drop an email to info@brakestrust.com and we’ll get straight back to you. Thanks.
