Races Review

On Monday 18 June, Brakes fans descended upon Warwick Racecourse to benefit from free entry to the races for the evening. Under glorious summer sunshine, Brakes fans in gold and black enjoyed ‘the sport of Kings’ – and a bit of betting and drinking too!

Huge thanks go to Huw Williams (MD of the racecourse) and his team once again for this offer and making us to welcome. The racecourse has got some great events coming up over the Summer, so keep an eye on their website for details:

I’d like to thank the organisers for welcoming football fans and also allowing the bucket collection at the exit for the Warwickshire Young Carers – all in all a great joined up event for the community.

Well done Brakes Trust…

Money raised for charity…

We’re delighted to announce that a bucket collection at the exit raised £465.00 for one of the Trust’s nominated charities, the Warwickshire Young Carers’ Project.

“We would like to thank the race goers for their generosity. It is a terrific result and means that the project can extend its vital one to one support for young carers’ in Warwick and Leamington” says Peter Bowen.
