Edie Easterlow

Brakes from the 1950s, 2000s and 2010sFollowing the sad news that life long supporter and Vice President Edie Easterlow passed away on Tuesday, on behalf of our members, the Brakes Trust extends our sympathy and condolences to family and friends.

A donation will be made to the nominated charity as a mark of respect.

Many tributes to Edie and husband Frank, who passed away in July,  have been made by Brakes fans, here are just a few:

At least she’s back with Frank now, cheering the Brakes on from a much better seat. RIP.

For people who have only followed the club since 2000, the likes of Frank and Edie may not be known to them, but they were part of the band of unsung heroes who continued to help and support Brakes when the walls of the Windmill Ground were tumbling down around us.
People like them don’t come along every day.

A fantastic couple that spent so many years together and as Brakes supporters, at least they are together again.

Reunited with Frank, RIP Edie, a really nice lady, they will both be missed, a very sad day.

She was a lovely lady and put in a lot for the club, she will be missed.

They were a lovely couple and seemed to me like part of the furniture, if you went to see the Brakes you would guarantee you would see Frank and Edie. God Bless them both RIP.
