Memorabilia Update
As a continuation of Trust board member Andrew Calcutt’s work, the Brakes Trust team have been busy over the last few months collecting, collating and recording the condition of over 40 items of memorabilia from around the club and donors.
Some of the items catalogued are already on view, but, thanks to the generous donations made so far we have started the process of re-framing an initial group of memorable items. There is a lot more to be done but we want to restore these to public view.
So come along to the club-house at this Saturday’s match vs Salford City to see what’s been put up.
Update 2nd May’18:
Brakes legend Josh Blake has recently signed an original Leamington FC shirt from the 2000-01 season, the first season at the New Windmill Ground. Josh scored a brace in the first competitive game, including the first goal for the Brakes. The shirt, donated by Keith Hancock, is now on show in the club-house bar.
On Saturday before the Salford City game, Matt Dodd – who scored the late equaliser at York City to keep the Brakes up, unveiled his signed Leamington FC shirt from 2012/13 when the Brakes were Southern League Premier Division Champions. The shirt is loaned by Graham Hobbins.
