Stars in Our Eyes: Postponed

Matthew Kelly, probably won't be there.

Unfortunately this event is now postponed until sometime in 2012. Mr Kelly has been advised, and is naturally quite disappointed. But that’s life. Sorry to the folks who were going to do acts as well.

Join us for a Christmas party with a difference, as the Brakes Trust host a Stars in Their Eyes gala event at the New Windmill Ground on Friday 16 December.

Enjoy an evening based around the near-legendary TV show, laugh at our very own ‘Matthew Kelly’, and gasp at the technological marvel of our clapometer! (I’ve seen the blueprints, and truly I have not the words…)

Anyone can enter to perform, either individually or in a group. Festive songs will be great, but not essential. So start planning your act now, and drop us a note (details below) to let us know you’re planning to attend and perform.

Last Christmas, I gave you my heart...

The night will run from 7:30 till late, and a free minibus shuttle service will be provided to/from Leamington town centre before and after the event. Some nibbles will be provided, and of course the clubhouse bar will be open with a drinks promotion. Plus there’s going to be a raffle on the night, and the karaoke will be ‘open mike’ after the Stars in Their Eyes show is over.

Tickets are just £2.50 in advance (£2.00 for Trust members), and they’ll be available at the next home game onwards from Dawn in the clubhouse bar, Pete Davis and Nick Hallworth.
