Trust looks after historical items

A number of historical items relating to Leamington FC have recently been donated to the Brakes Trust for safe keeping. The Trust recognises the importance of these historical items, and is currently making plans which will not only ensure their future safe keeping but also make them available for viewing by the fans and the wider public.

The items include the following:

– Mid-alliance winners medal
– Southern League winners medal
– The last ever Walsall Wood programme
– A ticket from the Gillingham FA Cup game
– LFC and APLFC ties
– APLFC treble winners photos
– Several LFC league handbooks
– An old top from the original LFC – this was the property of Mr Terry Willoughby, who donated it to the club via Mr David Hucker.

In addition, a number of old records from Leamington FC have been given to the County Records office for indexing and scanning, and a collection of every programme since the reformation is also held by the Trust.

The Trust wishes to thank Mr David Hucker and Mr Lee Matthews for putting these items into the Trust’s safe-keeping. Please keep an eye on this website for news of their future public display.
