#bidefordinvasion
Unless you’ve been on the moon, you’ll know that something very special indeed can happen this weekend at Bideford.
We are all from different walks of life and different ages but at that one moment in time tomorrow afternoon at 4.45pm we could all be sharing the same experience in the same place. And that’s very cool. There could be some mad celebration, there could be a few tears perhaps. Emotions will run high.
We hope that every single Brakes fan who is able to make the trip manages to get there. Some fans, we know, don’t come to matches as much these days for various reasons. But if we do do it this weekend then everyone should share in it; it’ll be part of history, a milestone for Leamington, an “I was there” moment. Please don’t miss out on that – we are all Leamington FC.
We’d like to wish everyone a safe trip down to Bideford. Let’s do this, and let’s have a brilliant weekend.
Club coach
At the time of writing this (Friday 6:30am) there are still spaces on the club’s Supporters Coach. But be quick, they are being snapped up. Info on how to book is on www.leamingtonfc.co.uk
Keeping up-to-date
If you can’t make it, the best way of keeping up to date is probably Twitter. We’re @brakestrust (please add me!) but we don’t tend to tweet score updates so please follow these guys:
@brakesnews main Leamington FC account
@simesybrakes for Simesy’s live match twittering
@brakespress11 for Paul Edwards, press officer
Also definitely worth a follow are @brakes_updates, @leamingtonfc, @brakesvideos, @veno777, @bergerbrakes, @docwharton, @southleamcv31
Hashtags: I have been using #bidefordinvasion during the buildup, and Simesy will use #simesybrakes for his match updates.
If you want to let people know about your own Twitter feed or hashtag – please add it to the comments section below. (Note that comments are moderated as we seem to be a magnet for russian spam, so your comment might not appear straight away but it WILL appear!)
