Champions!

Congratulations to the team, Paul and Liam, all of the staff, volunteers, helpers – everyone involved with Leamington FC! You have done us proud.

30 years ago AP Leamington FC won the Southern League title but were denied promotion back to the 5th tier of football. On Saturday Leamington FC achieved the same title to enter the 6th tier of football in a very changed football landscape.

This time we have our future in our own hands and thus over the next few months let’s stand together to celebrate and then concentrate on building to sustain  our on-pitch achievements.

It has been a long journey to get back to a similar level and many many people have been part of it, not just those 30 years ago but those who have contributed whether as part of the establishment, the team, the supporters. It doesn’t matter if you have been around for decades or minutes, if you consider yourself part of the Brakes then that is what you are. And now its time to enjoy success and build for future triumphs.

This summer will see us having to prepare for a new level on many fronts so please I urge you to put aside any differences, stand side by side with those who just want to make the club the best we can and then we can have more days like Bideford away. Leamington FC is what really matters, tell everyone and let’s have a big celebration on April 27th when we all lift that Southern League Shield together.
